The 2020 season at Raby Castle will feature exciting new activities and the return of many of our most popular family days out.

During February Half Term Bright Woods will be bringing a brand new forest school adventure to Raby Castle, giving families a chance to enjoy time outdoors together, explore the grounds and woodland and learn some new skills. There will be a children’s trail with clues to solve and prizes to be claimed. Take a walk in the 200-acre Deer Park and visit the Woodland Play Area.

The Castle reopens on 4th March and a series of special events and tours are planned throughout the year.

For an extra special treat, why not celebrate Mother’s Day with Afternoon Tea in the grand surroundings of the Castle’s Grand Entrance Hall on Sunday 22nd March. Tickets will be available soon.

As winter turns to spring, visitors can look forward to even more events including the annual Orchid Show, seasonal markets, outdoor theatre, Open Farm Sunday and regular dog walks in the grounds of Raby Castle. Throughout the year, photographer Gary Lintern will run a variety of photography workshops including astrophotography at both Raby Castle and High Force.

We look forward to welcoming you in 2020.
