History comes to life when you join our Friendly Footman for a special interactive Children’s Tour of the Castle which has been host to knights, royalty and aristocracy through the ages.
Find out what it was like to be knighted and how the Castle was defended from enemy attack. There is so much to learn and plenty to see.
Children’s Tours will run throughout the school holidays. Tours begin at 10:30am in the Coach Yard and are included with a Castle, Park and Gardens ticket.
Tickets should be booked in advance online to guarantee a place on the Tour, or can be purchased on the day assuming there is availability. Both children and adults require Tour tickets.
Children’s Tours are suitable for ages 4 to 8 and all members of the family are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
