Learn how to make your own fabric covered pleated lampshades at our weekend retreat set in the spectacular North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is also a UNESCO Global Geopark.
Chic pleats and/or popular gathers, whether for business or pleasure, would you like to learn all the stitches and techniques required to make your own handmade pleated, and/or gathered lampshade to a professional standard?
Hosted by the High Force Hotel in County Durham, which sits beside one of the UK’s most spectacular waterfalls, the two-day workshop will be led by interior design tutor Jacqueline Schultz of JS Interiors.
Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced sewers and crafters, the workshop will include two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast at the High Force Hotel, access to High Force Waterfall, a welcome reception with drinks and canapes on the first night and expert tuition over two days with tea, coffee and a two-course lunch provided.
