Raby Castle is a unique location for night sky photography and we are delighted to welcome back local photographer and astronomer Gary Lintern for a series of workshops during October and November.
Raby Castle is surprisingly dark. It’s certainly dark enough to see the Milky Way. It’s a very special night photography location, partly because of the Castle, and partly because of the lakes which make it possible to capture reflections of the night sky.
Gary will share his secrets for capturing and editing the perfect shot of the beautiful Milky Way at Raby Castle, an incredible backdrop for astrophotography.
Gary will be running events on selected dates throughout the autumn and winter. These will be suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to experienced photographers.
For more details of dates and to book tickets please visit Gary’s website: http://photographyexperiences.co.uk/training/
