Grab your apron and roll up your sleeves…
Stir-up Sunday is coming to Raby Castle!
Stir-up Sunday is a centuries-old tradition where cooks spend the last Sunday before Advent ‘stirring up’ the Christmas pudding. Dating back to Victorian times, the whole family took a turn at stirring the Christmas pudding, making a wish.
We have teamed up with expert pudding maker Award winning chocolatier David Greenwood Haigh to share his secrets.
Suitable for any skillset, you will have step-by-step tuition to create a delicious Christmas Pudding to take home, ready for the big day.
For chocolate fans, David will also be teaching part of the session on Mendiants, the perfect French confection given as gifts around Christmas time.
