High Force kiosk

Our convenient kiosk not only sells admission tickets for High Force waterfall but also a delicious range of ice creams, snacks and drinks to take away.

The Waterfall kiosk is open seasonally and has a fantastic range of delicious ice creams from local creamery Brymor.

Brymor are animal lovers like us and believe their ice cream is the best due to the love and affection they show their own happy herd of Guernsey cows who in turn, produce the finest, creamiest milk.

If you are looking to relax after a day in the fresh air at High Force, a pub lunch awaits you at the High Force Hotel.

Choose your setting

You can choose to eat in one of our two cosy little bars, in the tearoom or outdoors on the patio, in the courtyard or in the garden.

Our ground floor public areas are warm and welcoming, with open fires and log burning stoves. There is nowhere better to sit on a cold winter’s day to read the paper over a Gin and Tonic or glass of wine.

Breakfast is served in our lower bar, offering dual aspect windows to let the morning sunshine stream through.

Raise a glass to the taste of Teesdale. We are passionate about looking after our beverages the good old-fashioned way, with excellent cellar management and knowledgeable staff to make for a perfect pint of any of our finest ales, ciders and lagers. You can try local real ales including our guest hand pulls which change every week, premium quality continental lagers and scrumptiously refreshing ciders – or why not choose from our wide selection of bottled drinks, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic?

We all love Gin here and we have a fantastic selection of gins for you to sample, whether it’s in one of our gin cocktails or as a traditional G&T, we have something for everyone.  Fever tree mixers are served as standard, but with other options available to suit every palate.  The High Force Hotel’s well-stocked wine cellar brings you wines from around the globe. You can enjoy a selection of our wines either by the glass or of course the bottle; there are wines to pair with all our dishes and to suit every taste.
