The AONB
The Wrekin is part of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), recognising the national importance of its landscape. Parts of it are also protected as Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and other such designations.
