“I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic time we had at the weekend! We were staying at The High Force Hotel with friends for our 36th wedding anniversary & it was absolutely wonderful. It is a beautiful, welcoming hotel with gorgeous rooms, very comfy bed (almost too comfortable as I didn’t want to get up!) and delicious food…. what a fine breakfast!! 

However what makes the place exceptional is the high standard of service from such a delightful team of staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the waterfall walks, then went on to Raby Castle & a bonus that there was the Classic Car Show on!

For dog lovers, you’ll be delighted to learn we welcome your four-legged friends at High Force. Please ask us about our pet friendly rooms. A small fee of £10 per stay applies, and if you let us know at the time of booking, we’ll add some ‘doggie treats’ to your room ready for your arrival. Situated where we are, you’ll be spoilt for choice for ‘walkies’.
