To celebrate volunteering week, we are offering the fantastic opportunity to meet new people, learn about the fascinating history all whilst sharing with visitors from across the country.

Volunteers play a crucial role in helping to share Raby Castle’s rich and fascinating history with visitors.  We are currently recruiting volunteers to support the Raby Castle team at weekends and busy holiday periods. We are looking for people with an outgoing, helpful and friendly personality, confident in engaging with members of the public. You will be familiar with our beautiful spaces at Raby, from the stunning Octagon Drawing Room to the grand Entrance Hall.   Help to provide a memorable experience by highlighting special items from our collections and being on-hand to answer questions.

The drop in sessions include:

• Meet, greet and chat with the Volunteer Coordinator
• Chance to meet other volunteers and talk about experiences
• Raby Castle Guided Tour
• Complimentary tea or coffee

This is an opportunity to get an insight into volunteering at Raby Castle and see if it suits you! There will be the option to sign up on the day.
