Step into December at High Force Hotel, where the air is filled with the crisp notes of winter and the warmth of festive cheer. If open fireplaces, weathered floorboards and effortless laidback elegance sound like your kind of place, we can’t wait to welcome you and the whole family, including four-legged friends, to your new favourite country hideaway.
Christmas Eve
Arrive at High Force Hotel from 2pm onwards where a warm welcome, a glass of something sparkling and homemade mince pies will be there to greet you. Let us show you to your room and let you get settled in. Once you are settled into your room, why not take advantage and head on a walk to see the magnificent High Force Waterfall or relax in front of one of our open fires with a large glass of wine, before joining us for dinner.
Christmas Day
A hearty Teesdale breakfast will be served between 8am and 10am on Christmas Morning, leaving you some time, to relax and open presents, or join us on a Christmas Morning walk, to work up an appetite before Christmas Lunch is served at 1pm.
The rest of the afternoon is then yours to enjoy how you please, whether retreating to your room for a post-Christmas Lunch nap or making the most of the exclusivity of the hotel and relaxing in front of a fire, undisturbed. Once Christmas Lunch has settled, we will provide you with your own Christmas Night hamper for you to enjoy either privately in your room or in the lounge with the other guests, whilst tucking into your hamper, why not try your hand at a board game, but try not to get too competitive…
Boxing Day
A magical Christmas outing.
Once back to the hotel, it will be time to freshen up ready for your last evening at the hotel, with a delicious farewell dinner.
