The Plotters’ Forest

Adventure Playground

The Plotters’ Forest is a magical outdoor playground, situated in a Christmas tree plantation and is the perfect place for children and families to reap the benefits of outdoor play. Not only will you enjoy two hours of play, your ticket also includes The Mischievous Rabbit Trail, look out for Ruperts mischief, he’s hidden giant eggs and letters around the forest, find them and tick them off on your trail sheet to complete the trail!

Little Eggsplorer in the Castle

Little Eggsplorer Trail 

Little ones can take part in the Easter Fun inside the castle with the Little Eggsplorer trail, spot the colourful eggs in each room along the way.

Eggs have a cracking history! Join our guide to discover the extraordinary, bizarre, and occasionally messy ways eggs have been used throughout the years—far beyond breakfast. From medicine to make up, to cleaning and painting, this tour is for anyone who’s ever wondered, “Why on earth would someone do THAT with an egg?”

Daily 11am for 30 minutes, starting on Monday 30th March and running until 19th April. Excludes Market Weekend. 

The Deer Park

& Walled Gardens

Let the little ones run wild!

Explore acres of beautiful parkland where your family can roam freely. Spot majestic herds of Red and Fallow Deer, swans, ducks, and an array of wildlife as you stroll through the rolling landscape. Alongside this the stunning walled gardens with frosty yew hedges and playful amphitheatre.

Make sure to pick up an activity booklet from the Round House!

Complimentary Seed Sowing!

Head to the Green House at 3pm for complimentary seed sowing to take home with you! Get your little ones interested in nature and watch your plant grow at home.

Yummy Food and Drinks

You will find delicious food and treats throughout the site, including The Vinery Glasshouse serving seasonal toasties, jacket potatoes and children’s lunch boxes alongside the Plotters’ Pantry for the perfect pitstop to refuel for a hot chocolate or ice cream.

The perfect place to end your day, The Coach House Shop has a delightful range of toys, puzzles, games, accessories and of course Jellycat.
