Haunted Forest – Trick or Trail in The Plotters’ Forest Woodland Adventure Playground

Nestled within a magical Christmas Tree Plantation at Raby Castle, The Plotters’ Forest is the perfect family adventure playground for children to experience the joys and benefits of outdoor play, here ‘close to nature’ truly comes to life.

This summer the Brand new Plotters’ Forest extension has doubed the play area in size! This space encourages children to take part in exciting challenges with six new pieces of play equipment that encourage exploration, interaction, movement and discovery along the way, including swings, a cascading wall, new word games and more.

Halloween Family Explorer Castle Tour

11am | 17th, 18th, 24th Oct – 1st November

Join us for a special family explorer tour of Raby Castle …with a difference! One of our knowledgeable Castle team will escort you through some of our favourite rooms, telling the story of some of the unexplained phenomenon and reported hauntings witnessed over the centuries.   From the unfortunate demise of some of the castle’s past residents to the stories of those whose spirits may still dwell within the ancient stone walls. Join us if you dare …. You’ll never see Raby Castle in the same way again!
