Join us at dusk for a special torchlit tour of Raby Castle. Find out from our guides about the unexplained phenomenon and reported hauntings witnessed over centuries at the castle.  From the unfortunate demise of some of the castle’s past residents to the stories of those whose spirits may still dwell within the ancient stone walls.

Your guides will meet you at twilight at the Roundhouse and take you through the 18th century walled garden, with its atmospheric Yew Hedges.  When you reach the castle, by the light of candles and torches, an unforgettable tour will take you through rooms, some familiar, some not usually open to the public, where our guides will share eerie tales of the unexpected and unexplained.

This new tour has been developed by the entire castle team. It included long-standing myths and legends of the castle ghosts recorded by previous generations, to the brushes with past residents experienced the team today.   Join us if you dare!
