Opulence & the Beetle
Join us for a special Meet the Maker event with Anice Neville, founder of Yorkshire-based floral studio Opulence and the Beetle, and discover the inspiration, artistry and imagination behind her contribution to the Castle in Bloom installation.
Anice’s exuberant and colourful creations have helped transform additional rooms within the Castle, complementing the wider floral journey through historic spaces, contemporary design and nature-inspired storytelling. During this engaging session, guests will hear how she drew on Raby’s rich interiors, historic objects and floral heritage to create displays that bring the outdoors in and offer a fresh way to experience the Castle.
This is a unique opportunity to meet one of the creative makers behind Castle in Bloom, learn more about the ideas behind the installation, and gain a deeper appreciation of the details, colours and stories woven through this summer’s spectacular floral transformation.
