Step into the golden warmth of the longest day of the year with a Summer Solstice Yoga Experience at Raby Castle.
On Saturday 20th June, from 3–5pm, you’re invited to gather in the beautiful Riding School for a nourishing two-hour practice inspired by the energy of the solstice – a time of light, expansion, and quiet celebration. As the afternoon sun lingers, we’ll move through a thoughtfully guided yoga asana practice designed to awaken the body, build gentle heat, and invite a sense of openness and ease.
We’ll weave in grounding pranayama (breathwork) and a calming meditation, allowing space to pause, reflect, and fully absorb the abundance of the season.
This event is an invitation to slow down, bask in the glow of summer, and reconnect with yourself in a truly special setting.
After the session, you’re warmly welcome to continue the evening by joining the Summer Solstice festivities at Raby Castle. Enjoy a relaxed pizza night at the Vinery Café or simply settle in to watch the sunset over the castle – a beautiful way to close the day. (Please note: café food and drinks are not included. Doors remain open until 7pm.)
Come as you are, and leave feeling lighter, brighter, and aligned with the rhythm of the season.
What to Bring:
- Water
- A blanket and/or pillow or anything else you’d like to make yourself comfortable for meditation.
- Suitable footwear for a short walk amongst the gardens.
- Mats and blocks will be provided for the yoga practice, however you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
