Behind The Scenes Tour | New Times Added
6th , 12th, 20th and 26th October | 10am – 12pm & 2pm – 4pm
Join us for an extraordinary journey into the heart of history as we unveil the hidden stories and treasures of Raby Castle. Step beyond the velvet ropes and immerse yourself in the captivating world of this centuries-old architectural masterpiece. Our exclusive behind-the-scenes tour offers a unique opportunity to step back in time, unlocking some of the hidden parts of the castle to reveal rooms, stories and treasures not usually seen by the public. From the magnificent State Bedroom, designed to impress the most important visitors, to the suite of rooms used by the 10th Lord Barnard, including the grand Billiard Room and his private study, every detail of which remains unchanged since his death in 1964.
Numbers are limited on these special tours as we glimpse into smaller, more intimate rooms and venture down narrow passages within the walls, where our friendly Senior Guides look forward to sharing some of the lesser-known stories of Raby Castle and the people who have lived and worked here.
Dogs are not allowed in the castle or terrace.
Please note no photography is allowed on the behind-the-scenes tour.
This ticket gives you full access of Raby Castle, Park and Gardens.
