Open daily | 10am – 4pm 3pm closure in the winter months

High Force is one of the most impressive waterfalls in England. The River Tees has been plunging into this gorge for thousands of years but the rocks it reveals are far more ancient – with origins dating back over 300 million years!

A scenic woodland walk takes you down to the base of the falls and returns through our new magical woodland trail. Watch out for magical woodland creatures along the way. From a curious fox, moon-gazing hare and wise owl – you never know who you might meet on your travels! Take a photo in our Giant’s chair and walk across the caterpillar balancing beam.

This beautiful natural sight and woodland experience is open daily from 10am till 4pm, we look forward to welcoming you.

Tickets can be purchased on site or online: Admission to the falls: Adults (16+): £3.50, Children (4-15): £2, Under 4s: Free

Families and couples can pre-book their tickets online at a special discounted rate.

High Force Hotel
