From classic favourites like Minted Milk Chocolate and Dark Fruit & Nut to bold and unexpected creations such as Dark Chilli & Lime and Liquorice & Blackcurrant, North Chocolates offers something for every taste. In honour of the season we are also introducing a range of festive chocolate flavours such as Retro Rum & Raisin , Cherry Panettone,  Winter Nut & Berry and Nutcracker.

Our Cocoa: 

Despite very challenging conditions, we are proud to use 100% Sustainable Cocoa products and support the CocoaHorizons Foundation – an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to sustainable cocoa with a core mission to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities aiming to eradicate child labour and end deforestation in the cocoa supply chain.

Our Packaging:

All of our wrappers and foils are made from recyclable material; the majority of our clear bags are made from ‘NatureFlex’, a biodegradable and compostable material sourced from wood pulp from sustainably-managed plantations, however as it reacts with certain ingredients, the rest of our clear bags are made from High-Density Polyethylene which is widely recyclable. We also reuse boxes and packaging material whenever we can – aiming to keep it in the system rather than landfill and, of course, all of our ribbons come in very handy for other presents!

Our Awards: 

Many of our bars have had lovely reviews in the The Observer newspaper describing them as ‘deeply satisfying’ and like ‘fireworks in your mouth’ , and several of our bars have won awards including a Quality Food Commendation, Best In Show and Distinctly Delicious Awards. North was also the proud recipient of Artisan Business of the Year in the Newcastle Business Awards and was named ‘Fenwick Food Hero – Artisan Producer of the Year’ which resulted in 4 window displays in the Newcastle upon Tyne store. We were very chuffed!
